Audit and Risk Committee Charter

As required under subsection 45(1) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, the Secretary of the Department of Social Services has established an audit and risk committee and under subsection 17(1) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014, determines the functions of the audit and risk committee by written charter.

Breaches of Code of Conduct

The Commission has established procedures for determining breaches of the Code of Conduct and for determining sanction under subsection 15(3) of the Public Service Act 1999. These procedures supersede the Department of Social Services procedures under subsection 15(3) regarding the DFSV Commission.

Reporting suspected fraud and corruption

The Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Commission is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency and accountability. We are serious about preventing, detecting, deterring, disrupting and responding to fraud and corruption against our programs, schemes and functions.

Our commitment is guided by our obligations under the Commonwealth Fraud and Corruption Control Framework 2024, and supported by internal governance frameworks, controls and a culture that promotes ethical conduct at all levels of the agency.

Reports of suspected fraud or corruption in relation to the Commission can be made to the Department of Social Services.
